About the adventure

Here's 5 examples of things you can hear during this game: - As you head out into the street, the town board mentions a Great Bat terrorizing the village at night - 5000gp reward. - A local youth wearing farmer's garb eagerly runs up to your table. "Are you all the Ice Crew?! Oh man! Real heroes! Please, please, please. Please help my farm! We can go tonight even, it's not too late. Oh, it's nothing dangerous really. I... uh... I can tell you more on the way." He looks around nervously. - One of your party members to another, "Oh hey. Yeah so we can probably do that. Where'd you get the axe? That axe is cool though." - You spend the afternoon researching a new, powerful ingredient and learn it is found only in the lower levels of a nearby crypt. You make an order for supplies, and get ready to spend the next couple days out of town. - Deep in the mysterious forest, you suddenly encounter these two elves. Their faces covered in massive welts, look at you with their eyes full of desperation. "Our prince is being attacked by giant bees! Please help us!" šŸ•‹ You're a budding hero of the realm and this isn't your first adventure. You will start at level seven. ā™‹ The setting is the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, a high fantasy world, and the same setting as featured in Baldur's Gate and the D&D movie. Call of the Netherdeep is a D&D 5th Edition Campaign Module written by Matt Mercer of Critical Role. Many of the events in this campaign were inspired by both of these. šŸ•‹ Find out what these visions mean. Or focus on more... personal matters. This is a D&D 5th edition game where you can truly get immersed in not just your character's story, but the world, and the lives of your companions. The game will have tons of roleplay, combat, and opportunities for discovery. ā›ŗ Beginners and experienced players welcome. The game uses the 5th Edition D&D Rule Set. Game Rules will be clarified and explained when needed, and then can be revisited or adjusted later. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ Note: I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all players, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our game is committed to fostering an environment free from racism, transphobia, homophobia, and any form of discrimination. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~

Gameplay details

We have a discord channel which you'll be invited to join. We have an anonymous Google Docs for lines and veils, which can be updated at any time. We use safety tools via Discord. We end right at or a few minutes before three hours. We typically use at least the last few minutes to talk about the session and check-in. We spend an average of half of the session/s doing in character roleplay. This campaign will likely last 50 more sessions and end at or under level 14.
