About the adventure

In the Old Margreve Forest, the shadows run deep. In the dark, that which you see can be as dangerous as the things you can't. This adventure is set in the world of Midgard, published by Kobold Press. Our heroes are hired to find missing members of a village in the Margreve forest. While investigating, they discover a dark secret inside the forest. This is a beginner friendly one shot adventure for up to 5 players. Character Creation: Level 3 character Point buy or standard array You are allowed 1 magic Items up to uncommon rarity. Anything in D&D 5e published material or anything from Kobold Press 5e material is allowed. If you do not have a character, I can provide a pregenerated one. Game style? This is an old school style adventure with some mystery and problem solving, mixed with a little bit of combat. There will be characters to question, puzzles to solve, and danger. 18+ is preferred but there will be no real subjects of a sensitive nature. Tools I will be using Roll20 and Discord. I will also be using a consent checklist along with the X card as safety tools. If you have any questions on any of these tools, feel free to ask.

Additional Details

How to prepare

The will need a functioning mic and a computer, preferably using a Chrome based browser to better interface with Roll20. They will also need a discord account for the voice aspect. We can use video too, but I do not require it as it makes some people uncomfortable.

What I provide

I will be bringing maps, music, digital lighting on the VTT, and accesses to the books via the roll20 compendium.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created via the Roll20 charactermancer. If you have one you have created using D&D Beyond or other tools, just send it to me I will add it to the VTT. If you do not have character art, I can provide that and tokens. I am available to help with any aspect you need.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
