How to prepare

1. Have at least two characters made through Dndbeyond.com. We will play with your favorite after hearing what the group has created for better team cohesion. The first 30 minutes or so will be introductions to your characters. Please read character creation section for additional notes on sharing that information with me! **NOTE: Please try to familiarize yourself with how DnD Beyond displays character informaitons, how spell slots work if you are a magic user, and how DICE rolls work. I can offer some help prior to game if you need help here so we don't slow down game when everyone is together :) 2. DICE - I recommend we use Foundry's Virtual dice as everyone will see your rolls and we can celebrate or react together. You may also use the free digital dice on DnDbeyond.com and everyone in the campaign will see the dice rolls. If you prefer your at home dice you may use that however we will be using the honor system unless there just seems to be way too much luck on your side! Please, no cheating, it ruins the game entirely! 3. Webcam - Games are better when we see your smiles! Please test your Webcam prior to Game Day for best experience. It is optional to leave your camera off for any reason, just let me know up front :) 4. Microphone - Communication is key! Please test your Microphone prior to Game Day for best experience. 5. What I provide

1.Players handbook, Dungeon master guide, and Monster Manual as Sources on DnDbeyond.com for you to use. Depending on your race/class requests I will expand my library to make sure you can have access through the shared campaign play what race/class you want. 2. Adventure modules purchased online or through books and D&D forums all across the internet. This includes MAPS, AUDIO, MUSIC, IMAGES, and so on. I promise to keep it fun, interesting, and always to keep you guessing as to what is next so you can just show up, and play your character! 3. Foundry Virtual Table Top (VTT) - I have purchased and also built whole maps so we can play together online through your chosen web browser. I will provide digital tokens you can move on the live map for you to move, but you can send over any you want to use prior to game. You will need to make a FREE account on Forge-vtt.com to access our game 4. Discord server - I have built a discord server that we can chat and webcam on to play our game together, again you will need to create a login to join server for us to play on.

Gameplay details

CODE OF CONDUCT - NO Bullying, hazing, or otherwise picking on a fellow character. You are a team and as such will treat each other with respect. - NO Torturing or slaving captured NPCs - NO Sexual content (sweet talking may be used as a form of persuasion but ONLY with NPCs) - NO Shutting down other players ideas or actions. Each player has a chance to voice their thoughts or intent. If you say "My character will try..." then we will play out the outcome. If you ask the party for their opinion, then that action can be decided upon by the group (in or out of character). There are no wrong answer or suggestions. SAFETY TOOLS: PM the DM - In our games, the most important safety tool for your use is the Discord private message feature. If you feel at any time uncomfortable and do not want to share it to the whole table, PM me directly and we can discuss it post game, or on break to make sure you and all players can have fun! Yellow Card - During a game if something comes up that is making you uncomfortable but are okay with sharing openly, please speak up to the whole table and the event/action will cease immediately. Otherwise bring it up privately afterwards and the topic will be avoided in the future following the PM the DM tool. THEMES This game includes the following themes and is suitable for a mature audience : Violence Bloody descriptions Mature language My games typically include the kind of content you might expect from an M-rated fantasy video game like Dark Souls or Skyrim. There will be violence and gore, but I steer clear of stuff like sexual violence, slavery, and other things that are uncomfortably close to reality. I also avoid putting your characters in ethical dilemmas where they are required to do something awful. I want you to have fun but not forced to do something terrible!

How will character creation work

Please Create TWO Level 3 character on DnD Beyond - https://www.dndbeyond.com/ - No Magic Items - Please create a RACE and CLASS found in the latest version of the Players handbook - https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/phb . If you need access to the book for Dndbeyond.com, I will be sharing my copy through our joint campaign so you can have access to it prior to the game. - HOWEVER, if you would like to play any other official race I may need to purchase the source material on DnD Beyond to fully support your character and all their traits. I am still new to buying source materials on DnD Beyond. - At this time I will not allow characters not found in official DnD sources, including NO homebrew races. I hope to change this in future as my own roleplaying and GM skills grow! Before our Game Session, I will share a campaign link on DnD Beyond so you and your fellow players can see your character, and I can see your stats and backstory to properly support your character.
