About the adventure

Saint Dumas is a quaint enough town, but hurricanes in Louisiana are no laughing matter. Bad enough it's the height of the Great Depression, but now a once-in-a-lifetime storm is ripping through the town. Local authorities are completely overwhelmed, and any able-bodied residents are pitching in to ensure everyone's safety. But the storm may not be the only thing terrifying the town residents...

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need a webcam and a mic, as well as hopefully a relatively quiet place to play. You will need your own dice; a classic set of polyhedral dice will suffice. An email with the character sheet will be emailed out before the game, and character creation will happen in game.

What I provide

I'll bring the dice and the creepy narration.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a fast-paced game with some combat and some creepy, thematic investigation. This is a Lovecraftian game, after all. Session 0 will cover the themes and character creation, but character creation is incredibly simple.

How will character creation work

Character will be created in Session 0, which will be held as the beginning of the game. Eldritch characters are incredibly simple, and the character sheet only has 4 numbers! Creating characters together, particularly for a one shot or short adventure, can lend to a natural integration of the party.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: Beginner
