About the adventure

Welcome to the misty land of Barovia, a place where shadows seem to stretch unnaturally long and whispers echo endlessly through the fog. You have been drawn to this cursed land for reasons unknown, and as you wander the winding streets, you catch sight of a dilapidated mansion looming ominously in the distance. The locals speak of the Death House with hushed tones and fearful eyes, warning you to stay away. But something compels you to approach the ancient gates and peer through the twisted iron bars. The mansion appears to be abandoned, but you can sense a malevolent presence lurking within its walls. As you step through the creaking gates and into the overgrown gardens, a chill runs down your spine. The air is thick with the scent of decay, and the twisted trees seem to reach out to you with gnarled branches. The mansion itself is a labyrinth of dark corridors and hidden rooms, and you can feel the weight of its secrets pressing down on you. You know that something is waiting for you within the Death House, something ancient and powerful. Will you have the courage to face the horrors that lie within, or will you fall victim to the curse of Barovia? The choice is yours, but be warned - the Death House is not for the faint of heart. Are you ready to enter? Players will create level-3 characters using D&DBeyond and, if familiar with TTS, can choose a mini to use during the adventure.
