Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20, Discord
About the adventure
The shield dwarves of western Faerûn sometimes speak of a labyrinthine structure on the shores of a misty lake. Rumored to imprison an ancient creature that predates Faerûn’s beginnings, the place has long been sealed. But now coins are showing up in bazaars and trader’s booths that match the description of those minted by this citadel, and they are rightly concerned. This adventure is part three of the Saga of the Worm series. The parts do NOT need to be played in order. *** content: due to some of the horror themes, I strongly suggest that everyone be ages 17 and up ***
How to prepare
Things you need to bring/prepare: - your character sheet (this does not need to be digital) - your dice (physical or digital, your call) - an awareness of DDAL rules - a valid level 17+ DDAL character - a webcam AND a microphone (this is a big part of my DM style) NOTE: if you can't provide a webcam and a mic, please feel free to contact me privately so that we can arrange another game at another time that will better fit your needs
What I provide
I have a number of art assets for this adventure, and generally roll physical dice. I will be providing special certificates to the players (similar to the certs normally gained by playing, but when I run the AO version there are -sometimes-, but not guaranteed, special certs).
This is a Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League (DDAL) game. While I don't generally audit character sheets and logs, I do expect you to be familiar with DDAL rules and ready to explain your character options if I'm not familiar with them. It's a big adventuring world out there so sometimes things slip away from me, hah! This adventure is intended as largely roleplay and exploration, with combat coming hard and fast. That said, I am very much willing to modify the game to fit the expectations of the players.

How will character creation work
Characters are expected to be created and used according to DDAL campaign rules. As this adventure is for levels 17+, I would assume that your characters would be fairly complex and rich in history!
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: Intermediate
