About the adventure

This game's primary content will be based off of the dungeon of the mad mage Undermountain however the story premise and the character's reasons for entering Undermountain will not correspond to the module. You consider yourself lucky to have met such a fantastic friend like Tychus Phylund. Getting a job in the great city of Waterdeep is easy, getting a job that pays well now that is a whole other story. When you were offered the job, you had no idea how to do it but Tychus was willing to teach, and your education went well. Your patron certainly didn't ask much of you the only major thing he demanded is that you do not teach the skills he taught you two others that would undermine his business interests. He not only provided you with a good paying job you also have the privilege of having your room and board taken care of with the on location living that he provided as well as a small support staff to assist you in the mundane day-to-day dealings. You've often joked amongst yourselves that you are voluntary prisoners to your Golden manacles. The house patron had three copies of a manuscript the manuscript was all the necessary care manipulation and necessary breeding requirements to create the iconic watch spider the flagship of sales in the house. These manuscripts literally hold the most well-kept and important secret that this house has to offer three days ago one of these manuscripts came up missing. The missing manuscripts are written in a type of code to protect the information inside but somebody who wants that manuscript I'm sure has the resources two eventually break that code. You know that you're patron is very concerned about the missing manuscript and has no idea where currently is. He has asked that if you see it or know where it went to please tell him for that manuscript being missing could potentially ruin the entire house. It's of critical importance that that manuscript remain in the hands of your patron for if it was to get out watch spiders would be able to be created by anyone and the financial stability of your patron would vanish overnight. You have not seen the manuscript however you do know the manuscript came up missing 3 days ago and you also have a staff worker by the name of Thomas then also has not arrived at work in the last three days your patron currently doesn't know this, but yet you're concerned that the two things are related. It does not seem like too much of a stretch that this coincidence of timing could clearly be foul intent. At the moment you have no idea where to find Thomas, but you do possibly know some people who can.
