About the adventure

Two weeks ago, a noble and his retinue left from Baldur’s Gate on an adventure amid much fanfare. And today single soldier has returned, bearing grievous wounds and a ransom demand. This is clearly a situation that needs a group adventurers to handle it, but is this simply a misadventure or is something darker at work? Can you rescue the missing nobleman, or will the evil powers stirring deep within the Temple of the Opal Goddess claim another victim?

How to prepare

Players will need a Discord account, a Roll20 account, a mic, and headphones.

What I provide

Over two decades of DMing experience, some funny voices and accents, and a love of weird fiction stories.

Gameplay details

Lines & veils will be collected from each player before the game starts, and the X-card will always be available during gameplay through Roll20. We'll use Session 0 to set everyone's comfort level with the subject matter, and make sure everyone's on the same page. My number one goal as dungeon master is always to make sure my players are having a fun and safe time at my table, and if that means changing things on my end, that's fine.

How will character creation work

Characters for 'Temple of the Opal Goddess' should be created at 6th level, using the standard array for ability scores. Any material published in official Wizards of the Coast books is okay to use, but I'm not allowing homebrew stuff. Premade characters will also be available.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
