About the adventure

Join us on a grand adventure to... We don't know yet! The time slot is so weird that I'm really prioritizing finding interested people over running a particular game. If, for some reason, you're available to play at 9 am Eastern, I'd be happy to have you!

Additional Details

How to prepare

Please have a decent mic that doesn't catch background noise from your surroundings. No webcam necessary. Once you've joined the group, I'll send Discord and Roll20 invites for you to click through. If you haven't already, please install the Discord app on the machine you'll be using for voice chat; it's much more stable than the browser version. Physical dice will not be necessary, as we'll be rolling exclusively via Roll20, and the same goes for character sheets.

What I provide

I'll make the Discord server and the Roll20 game, and in-game I'll use either a Roll20 module or a collection of other digital assets for visual aids.

Gameplay details

People come first, full stop. While I've never had to interrupt a session for player wellness reasons, I would do so in a heartbeat. If at any point during our game you feel uncomfortable with something that's going on, you are free to speak up. I won't be hurt or offended. We're here to have fun, not give you more things to discuss in therapy.

How will character creation work

Once a module is selected, we'll set the starting character level. You'll have some time and access to my Roll20 compendium to create your character ahead of session zero, where we'll discuss character relationships, player expectations, and ensure all necessary tech is working.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: None
