About the adventure

The signs are all around: crops are failing. Livestock is dying. The people suffer illnesses—plagues never seen before, and expeditions in search of answers to these ill portents all point to one place. The queen has sent soldiers and inquisitors and priests to the temple of the old gods. All have failed. Most never even reach the temple, and many haven't returned at all—swallowed up by the shimmering glades that surround the place. This is not how it's supposed to be, but it's how it is. Now it's your turn. Dead Gods is an accessible 5th level one-shot adventure. Face the weird and wyld woods that stand as the bulwark between civilization and things best forgotten. Unseal that which was long-ago sealed, such that it may be sealed again—if you can make it that far. These trees have turned tougher stuff than you into fertilizer, after all. How will character creation work

Characters will be level 5, and completed character sheets should be brought to the game. In-depth backstories are not required for this particular game—a set of traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws ought to be enough, as long as your character is willing to work together with others.
