About the adventure
Hail, and well met, brave adventurers! The City of Splendors, Waterdeep, is a wondrous and vast place, full of intrigue, peril, machinations, and adventure for those seeking favour and fortunes. In The Yawning Portal, you will find adventurers of all kinds, as well as plots, mysteries, and even an occasional tall tale. A grand urban caper awaits you. Pit your skill and bravado against villains the likes of which you’ve never faced before, and let the dragon hunt begin! This campaign is designed for 1st-level characters and working out way beyond that. Session 0 will determine what you would like as a character and how they will be shaped.

How to prepare
Make themselves familiar with the Basic Rules of DnD from WoTC site if they have never played before. If not don't worry as they will learn as they go along. Fantasy Grounds Unity Demo version will need to downloaded and installed before the game can begin. Discord will be used for Communication and a working microphone/headset will be required with Push to talk enabled for players.
What I provide
I will be bringing Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license with me, Syrinscape sounds to immerse in the game settings.
Gameplay details
I use a safety Mod in the game system designed for the players to alert myself the GM to anything they be uncomfortable with from other players or even myself. As I am aiming this at all ages, it will be family friendly themes.

How will character creation work
Characters will be Level 1 and we will create them as a session 0 using Fantasy Grounds or DnDBeyond.com and then import into the game. If it is the first time that the players use Fantasy Grounds do not worry as I can run through the controls and how the character sheets and mechanics work.
