About the adventure

After a demon god was slain her dying breath cursed the world with a foul mist that raises the dead and turns the living into demons. Only the light of the sun and the fallen shards of the moon under its pale light banish the mist. Despite the danger of this world, mortals still find the time to go to war. There's coin to be made in that. ⚔️ Assemble your merc company and take on contacts for gold and glory ⚒️ Survive in a hostile world and harvest the bodies of monsters to craft magical gear 🏞️ Explore ruins of the ancients and take on the horrors and dark machinations within for treasure beyond imagination 🛡️ Raise your stronghold and become legends You were hired to be the bodyguards of a Dha'kar(Race) acolyte of Oros(God of Twilight) named Falknar. Currently you are traveling to Okrand, a humble mining town where Falknar has asked you to meet him. Upon your arrival he has promised you 15 gold pieces and 100 gold pieces for each head at the end of the contract. This adventure is for individuals who enjoy a gritty dark-fantasy with tactical combat and aspects of survival horror and monster hunting. Backstories are optional but I love to incorporate PC backstories as much as I can along side the main narrative when appropriate.

How to prepare

Gameplay details

Adventures in this setting can be Grimdark at times and can touch on sensitive subjects and it's important to make our boundaries clear, so that each of us can feel safe and relaxed. We will go over safety tools, and how the party will get together in Session 0, and at the end of each session we can discuss what went well and what should be improved. I will also send out a consent form in which you can let me know what content you don't wish to see in our games. This is a newbie-friendly game, I will help with the mechanical and rulebook-sides of the game, you just need to tell me what your character would like to do. 🎲

How will character creation work

We are using the Point Buy system for this campaign. (https://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html) or you can take the Standard Array. If you're new to D&D, I'm happy to help with creating your first character. 👀 You will be creating your characters all together on session 0 with Roll20 and will begin at first level.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
