About the adventure
The Askellon sector is in the grip of the Pandaemonium, as it loses contact with the wider Imperium of Man it faces many threats internal and external. One threat has gone unnoticed for too long, but the Inquisition has eyes everywhere, always watching and probing. You are one of these Acolytes of the Inquisition and on your shoulders lies a heavy burden. This is an Investigative campaign where you will be put in the shoes of a team of acolytes. I will present in the opening game a planet and a mission after that it is up to the players and their characters to follow leads, act on hunches or just kick down doors until something shakes out. It is strongly player driven depending on your interests collectively. Thus session 0 will be very important to make sure both players/characters and i as GM are on the same page. No particular skills or knowledge (about 40k or DH) are needed except for a willingness to learn. There will be some horror/gore elements as is par for the course within Warhammer 40k but that will not be the focus of the game and can be adjusted by player preference and will be asked upon introduction.
How to prepare
Regarding the game, all I need from players is curiosity and some basic willingness to learn. A basic understanding of what warhammer 40k is would be helpful, but otherwise you can be mostly new to all of it. Otherwise I do require you to have a decent quality mic and know how to use it while considering your fellow players so you are understandable to myself and others whilst not breaking or eardrums or speaking over them.
What I provide
Access to my FoundryVTT game and access to a large collection of tools and documents I can provide to assist you in making a character. Also I often make use of bespoke world maps and tactical maps for large encounters which I will adjust based on the players previous actions and events in the game.
Every game will be responsive to the players wishes, where I will adjust its content. This is up to a point as we must all be compatible and happy to play together. The core of the game is an investigation into some strange tithing discrepancies and disappearances. But how that is approached is entirely up to the players, whether by undercover infiltration or large scale arrests and interrogations. Thus after each session (and during session 0) I will ask all players if there is any feedback about the content of the session and what they are planning to do next time and what they might like to see more or less of.

How will character creation work
You will get help making your own character together with the other players during session 0. During and after which i will be available to help out and be able to provide various helpful tools to make it easier. I have also set up Foundry VTT with the necessary items to make it mostly drag and drop.
