About the adventure
Welcome to the Time of the Red, Choomba! The Megacorporations spent decades wrecking everything and in the aftermath of their last War, everyone has to fend for themselves. A man with a cyberarm and a cowboy hat walks through a Night Market, exploring what's for sale. But that’s just fine. You can handle it. After all, in a world of vicious boostergangs, rampaging cyborgs, corporate assassins, and nihilistic doomsday cults, there’s only one rule: Always take it to the Edge. Take the big risks, get the big rewards. Be the action, start the rebellion, light the fire. Never drive slow when you can blaze a trail. You’ve hooked your Militech pistol to the interface in your brain; upgraded your cybernetic fist with carbo-glas blades; and installed cybereyes that can pierce through the red haze like morning fog. There’s a world full of opportunities out there, just waiting for the right Edgerunner. Maybe that’s you. This campaign will be built around our conversations during session zero and the characters you design. WHAT IS CYBERPUNK? Cyberpunk is a role playing game set in a dark and dangerous version of the near future run by both governments and megacorporations during the aftermath of a global event called the Fourth Corporate War - a war between megacorporations that ended when an atomic bomb ravaged the few vestiges of civilization that would be familiar to people in society today. Thus began what everyone calls: the "Time of the Red". This is the era Cyberpunk takes place in. The year is 2045, and technology in the world has evolved in some ways that seem familiar, but surprisingly different in others. The characters in this game are known as "Cyberpunks". As a Cyberpunk, you grab technology by the throat and hang on. You're not afraid to check out the newest in enhancements, cybertech, and bio-engineering. You've got interface plugs in your wrists, weapons in your arms, lasers in your eyes, and bio chip programs in your brain. You become the car you drive, the aerodyne you fly, the guns you shoot. You dive headfirst into computer systems, using your mind to hurtle at light speed all over the new network of micro-nets, Data Fortresses, and Artificial Intelligences. With cyborg fingers, you pick computer locks, with enhanced senses, you see into the future. The traditional concepts of good and evil have been replaced by the values of expedience - you do what you must to survive. This is especially true in the Time of The Red. What sets apart Cyberpunks is a person code that they follow among them. Here they are: ITS ALWAYS PERSONAL The rule is it's always personal. Survival is personal - and the hallmark of these dark times. Cyberpunk characters are survivors in a tough, grim world, faced with life and death choices. How they make these choices will influence whether they end up as vicious animals roaming a ruined world or retain something of their basic humanity. Cyberpunk characters are the heroes of a bad situation, working to make it better whenever they can. Whether it takes committing crimes, defying authority, or even outright revolution, the quintessential Cyberpunk character is a rebel with a cause. STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE It doesn't matter how well you do something, as long as you look good doing it. If you're going to blow it, make sure you look like you planned it that way. Normally, clothes and looks don't matter in an adventure, but in this world, having a leather armor jacket and mirror shades is a serious consideration. Do everything with style, or don't do it at all. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING It's true. Think dangerous, be dangerous. Think weak, be weak. Everything on the 2000s is carrying lethal hardware. Each character in this world is playing a part - a face that person projects to the outside world as the real thing. Never walk into a room when you can stride in. Never look at someone unless you can make it your best killer look. Don't sit around the flat or cube waiting for the next job - get out and hit the clubs and hangouts. Make sure you're where the party starts. LIVE ON THE EDGE The Edge is that nebulous zone where risk-takers and high-riders go. On the Edge, you'll risk your cash, your rep, and even your life on something as vague as a principle or a big score. As a Cyberpunk, you want to be the action, start the rebellion, light the fire. Never drive slow when you can drive fast. Throw yourself up against danger and take it head on. Never play it too safe. Stay committed to the Edge. Always.
How to prepare
We will be using FoundryVTT to play and discord for voice. Any assistance or support you will need can be found on my discord channel.
What I provide
I will be providing FoundryVTT with all its fun fanciness. We can make tokens together, just provide me with your characters image. I make engaging maps and, hopefully, entertaining NPCs. I attempt to tailor the campaign around the characters and the player's agency. The world should live and react to your actions.
This campaign will be a fun mixture of roleplay and combat. There will be puzzles to solve and fun to be had. We will be exploring Night City and all it has to offer. I am looking for all experience levels, from only read the book, to a Cyberpunk loremaster.

How will character creation work
We will have a free session zero hosted on my discord and we will make characters together, feel free to bring any character concept you have. We will be using the Complete Package method from the Cyberpunk Red core rule book.
