About the adventure
Our story begins in Yawning Portal. You are all celebrating after being accepted in to the Adventurers League. During your evening of drink and merriment you find yourself drawn to an old gypsy man who claims he can predict your future. Incapable of resisting you listen to the old man's 'card tricks' finish your last drink and black out instantly. Where you wake up in the ditch, next to an old dirt road. All you see is overcast above you, a road that is covered with a thin fog. In front of you barely visible through the fog appears to be a village on a hill. Behind you is a thick fog, Capable of seeing only a few inches through it. ad surrounding you and the road you're on is a dense forest of dead and dying trees with the cawing of crows and the howls of wolves in the distance. With nary any recollection of the previous night(s), nor where you are, how you got there nor why you're there.
