About the adventure

🌙 Grim, dark, horror setting? ✔️ 🧛 Legendary vampire villain, Strahd? ✔️ ☠️ Unforgiving landscape? ✔️ ❌ Real life drama? Scheduling headaches? ❌ Barovia, dark domain of dread ruled by an enigmatic ruler by the name of Lord Strahd von Zarovich, both spoken of in only whispers on the Sword Coast. You and your party were simply looking to rest in a tavern in Daggerford when a wealthy, mysterious visitor with an invitation openly speaks of Barovia, and invites you to visit... --- During session 0, we will create characters and discuss rules, but before you join, know my #1 rule: Don't be a jerk! Really, that's the only rule that matters. DM does have all content available on D&D Beyond (which we will be using for character sheets) and using Roll20 VTT (easiest to use!) Additional Details

How to prepare

Working microphone required (and minimal background noise). If new players, have a basic, general understanding of rules, but I (and I'm sure all players) will help out with rules questions. No need to prepare characters with sheets beforehand. We will set up Roll20, and D&D Beyond on the first session.

What I provide

I'll bring D&D Beyond (have all sourcebooks), virtual minis, VTT maps, etc.

Gameplay details

Reasonable discussions of dark and horror topics will be involved in the module. This game is aimed at mature adults, and players are expected to behave as such (i.e., be respectful and don't be a jerk).

How will character creation work

Character creation will go as follows: Players can make a character with complete backstory if they wish; Players can use an elevated standard array of 17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8; All non-human races get a feat level 1; Game will start at level 3, and we will be rolling for HP in the first session with GM (no exceptions); First half hour or so of first session will be completing characters and getting this set up on D&D Beyond and Roll20. DM will gladly help any player create characters and help create backstories. I do this because I love it, so I would love to help in any way that I can! Pregens are available as well.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
