About the adventure
Curse of Strahd is a pre-written adventure module by Wizards of the Coast. The goal of the adventure is to escape the mist shrouded land of Barovia in which you are now trapped. Fate has decided that you are to be the next in a long line of adventuring heroes to enter this forgotten land all for the amusement of the Dark Powers that hold this land in mist and the wicked vampire lord who rules it. This vampire lord is known as Strahd von Zarovich and it will be your destiny to either defeat him or perish by his hand.

How to prepare
If nothing else, I would like you to have a mic so that we can hear you speak. I do ask that you have a Roll20 account because that is the site we will primarily be playing on. I also ask that you have Discord installed because that will be the primary way for us to talk, where ambient music will play and where you will see additional information related to the game. I also ask that you find images the represent your characters to use as tokens on Roll20.
What I provide
I will provide a discord server in which we can talk, post pictures, and stay in contact and I will have the full module on Roll20 for us to use.

How will character creation work
You can make your characters before the game starts but I would like to have copies of your character sheets after the first session. I ask that all players make level three characters to start. If you need help making a character I would be more than happy to help you create a character from scratch. All Official D&D 5e player supplements (Volo's Guide to Mosters, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, etc.) are approved for use. We will play with a milestone leveling system, meaning that you will level up by completing important events, clearing dungeons, or defeating particularly terrible enemies.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: Open to all
