About the adventure

Beware the evil Strahd Von Zaravich as he pursues you in attempt to terrorize you in his homeland of Barovia. The twisted hand of fate has designated you as the next in a long line of heroes to become Strahd’s personal play things, trapped in a plane of darkness and horror. Your goal is simple: survive long enough to escape this strange land. This pre-written module is an adventure taking a party all the way up to level 10 (and the way I play, you might even get to higher levels. You’ll most likely start out at level 3). Uncover the secrets of the land in a desperate attempt to hopefully defeat Strahd and bring light to an entire generation of his captives, if you dare!

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players should have mics of any quality, even if it’s just your phone/computer mic. Webcams would be appreciated but I understand if you do not have one or don’t feel comfortable showing your face. Since we’re meeting online, you should have your own dice (or at least an online dice roller).

What I provide

-Players Handbook, DM’s Guide, and “The Curse of Strahd” module -I consider myself a very creative DM, so I can definitely make drawings of your characters, and there will definitely be maps of the land for you all to see

Gameplay details

This module is very roleplay heavy, with plenty of opportunities to explore this land and discover a long list of secrets! There will be plenty of room for combat, and some of the encounters can be quite deadly.

How will character creation work

Characters should be made beforehand using classes from the Players Hand Book. If you want to use outside materials such as Unearthed Arcana I’m willing to talk about it but it’s not a guaranteed yes. Characters should be level 3, and you can either roll for stats or use point buy, it’s up to you.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
