About the adventure
Curse of Strahd is set in the gothic horror-themed realm of Barovia, a dark and foreboding land ruled by the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich. Drawn into the mists of Barovia, a mysterious and isolated domain, you discover that an ancient and powerful vampire holds dominion over the land. You must find a way to break the curse plaguing Barovia and defeat Strahd!

How to prepare
Players need internet access, a Discord account, and a microphone/headset. Webcams are encouraged but not required. You may use digital or physical dice for rolls, and character sheets can be printed off but should be built in D&D Beyond.
What I provide
I will bring ambient sound and music, maps, and imagery of NPCs.
Gameplay details
During session 0 we will cover what will explicitly not be allowed during gameplay. We will take time to talk about the Consent Checklist and the type of content we may encounter in Curse of Strahd. This module is heavy into gothic horror. I encourage roleplay and having fun with each other in character and above the table. There will be a healthy mix of combat, exploration, puzzles, and roleplay throughout the campaign, with freedom for characters to have the agency to decide where they want to go and when within Barovia. New players are welcome!

How will character creation work
Characters will be created on D&D Beyond using Dice Roll, Standard Array, or Point Buy. Pre-gen characters are available on request. Characters should start the campaign at level 3. Characters can have standard starting equipment, one uncommon magical item of their choice, and two common healing potions in their inventory to begin. Please let me know which uncommon magical item you select.
