About the adventure

A mystery set in Victorian London, where the supernatural bubbles to the surface of the conscience of the masses. Mediums and Spiritualists of all colors cater to rich and poor alike, mourning is in vogue, and the unseen forces that move in the world are at risk of being exposed. To make things worse, reality itself seems to be twisting and churning like a sick and injured thing. People awaken previously unheld psychic powers, and from the Vampiric Nightlife to the Occult societies of Magi, more and more supernatural beings are becoming accused or worse, exposed. Old societies from far stretches of the globe are gathering, The Sworn, who seek to set reality right, and the False, who seek to exploit this turn of events for their own gain. As players, you are all members of the Sworn, mortals, hunters, or other supernatural beings banding together trying to investigate this outbreak of what is called Contagion.

Additional Details

How to prepare

A mic is needed, as well as a Roll20 account. No knowledge of rules is needed before we begin character creation, but knowing your chosen splat will be beneficial to you. I will be able to provide relevant resources for the duration of the game's runtime.

What I provide

There will be maps, handouts, and temporary access to any of the Chronicles of Darkness rulebooks needed for your character.

Gameplay details

There will be gore, graphic violence, and mature themes associated with the horror genre. If you have anything you would like to discuss beforehand to limit these elements, please speak with me beforehand. And at any time during play, if you become uncomfortable, we will be using the X card system, allowing you to invoke your card, and the subject will be dropped, you will have an opportunity to discuss or not discuss what made you uncomfortable and why, and the scene will continue on a different note.

How will character creation work

After signing up, I would like to be able to have a one on one character creation session with you, for concept and statistics, then the first quarter hour of play will be dedicated to bringing these characters together and making last minute changes.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
