About the adventure
“At ease recruit, welcome to Fort William C. Lee, home of the Colonial Marines training school and the United Americas Maneuver Center of Excellence! During this course you will learn what it is like to be a Colonial Marine and be trained in the three fundamental skills of the war fighter, those being how to: Shoot; Move; and Communicate. Once you have mastered those three fundamentals, you will learn what advanced Military Occupation Specialties are available to you and you will learn how you can earn glory, respect, and a pay check, serving your respective countries in the off-world colonies. Now, I only have only one question for you, and I want to hear your answer in your best war-fighter voice, do you have what it takes to be a Colonial Marine?”

How to prepare
The core system behind Alien RPG is easy enough that you don't need to learn anything before hand, just show up with a name you want to use for a character and I'll walk you right through character creation and some scenarios and before you know it, I'll understand how to play the entire game.
What I provide
I bring the official rule set and an ultimate license to Fantasy Grounds Unity so you can try out Fantasy Grounds using only the free/demo version.
Gameplay details
This game deals with military, warfare, corporate greed, and violent themes. We will use a Yellow Card—Red Card system that any player can utilize if the scene is getting too intense, the use of these cards is done through clicking on an icon on the Fantasy Grounds screen, it is anonymous which player presented the card, but I will take immediate action when one is presented. A Yellow Card lets us fade-to black and continue with the story on the other side of the disturbing content, a Red Card stops the game and invokes a 15-minute break. After the break we can discus what was going wrong and how we can best fix it for the group.
