About the adventure

This will be running through the Chariot of the Gods module of the Alien RPG by Free League Publishing. A rather simple D6 system set in the Aliens Universe, this will be a single, one-shot session that will begin at 6 PM EST 22/14/20 and end at 10 PM EST at the latest. Both first time players and veterans will be accepted. This specific module is what the game terms 'cinematic' play, a short one to four session game focused around horror, set pieces and feeling like you are in the alien universe. This specific module is about finding a WY ship that has gone dark decades ago, and trying to see if you can rescue anyone aboard.

Gameplay details

The Alien Roleplaying Game is a mixture of crunch, simple dice rolls (you roll a number of D6's equal to your attribute and skill, with every six being a success) and horror. It is a rather brutal system, with the aliens being able to kill you easily if you do not work together or are properly equipped. Stress is also a key part of the system, which also gives you a bonus die equal to your amount of stress, How rolling a 1 on your stress die causes you to panic, which has the chance of ending very poorly.

How will character creation work

Pre fabricated characters will be provided before the session, players will be given the chance to choose who they play.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
