About the adventure

Welcome to Eldamar. A continent once blessed with peace has turned from beautiful, rolling hills to fields of blood and decay. Wars break out over the smallest infractions seemingly egged on by the gods who formed these lands. The gods use the people like pawns in a game of chess to settle their own petty squabbles. Many cities in Eldamar listen to their patron god and follow their word as law. One of the exceptions is the city of Ifend, where our story is set today. Ifend places more faith in the relationships between one another than they do in the word of so called gods. Due to the nature of their people Ifend has been able to remain neutral in most of the conflicts taking place in the world at large. Ifend is a large mountain town famous for their university, The Alabaster Symposium. A few weeks ago the town council announced that they were close to peace. They had, with the school, developed a way to seal the gods off from the material plane. They plan to conduct the ritual during the longest night of the year, which is tomorrow. The Iron Authority, the church of Erathis, has called together their small congregation to speak about the impending ritual.

How to prepare

I will send you a link to the discord where the Roll20 link is posted. There you can ask any questions you may have about the setting or character creation. We will be using Roll20 for maps and Discord for the audio and (optional) video

What I provide

I will have the maps uploaded to Roll20 as well as any character tokens necessary to play. Should you wish to provide your own character token feel free to do so.

Gameplay details

I like to go by the rule of cool so if there is something you want to try just let me know, we'll try to make it happen. My goal is to create a story where the PCs feel like they accomplished something while being a badass.

How will character creation work

PC's will be at level 10. Homebrew and UA are allowed but must be approved by the GM. Players will be responsible for creating their own characters. Roll20 character sheets can be provide should the players wish to be able to use their sheets digitally. The Chrome extension 'Beyond20' can also be used to link a DND Beyond character sheet to Roll20. Character stats can be determined by the standard array or a point buy system.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
