About the adventure

When people tell you to 'go to hell,' they're usually being figurative. For you, however, hell is a very real place, and somewhere that - despite every instinct screaming against it - you find yourself needing to visit. You or someone you know has done something terrifically foolish and bargained away their soul... or at least a part of it. And you want it back. Unfortunately, going to the Nine Hells is not as easy as walking to the nearest city. You'll have to work your way down there. Come play the prequel to the critically-acclaimed RPG Baldur's Gate 3, revised to crank the stakes up to 11. Now with supplementary adventures and content to bring you all the way from humble Level 1 origins all the way up to Level 20 demigods.

How to prepare

Decent quality microphone required, webcam suggested. Given use of variant rules, some knowledge of DND5E is preferred, but not mandatory if you are a quick learner. All content will be available on FoundryVTT, including character sheets and dice rolling, though you are welcome to paper and physical dice if you prefer.

Gameplay details

Session 0 will cover all topics, and I am always open to suggestions. Whatever you need to make the game fun, I'll make sure it happens, though adventures in the hells by nature tend to get rather messy.

How will character creation work

Several choices of homebrew variants will be considered. Gestalt (levelling 2 classes at once), Mythic levels, Piety system, etc. Otherwise, level 1 start with no restrictions on official options and a significant and overwhelming amount of homebrew options available to help your character fantasy fly off the page.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
