About the adventure

Set in a future where Earth has begun to colonize planets and space beyond its own Catalyst involves a number of people developing Aspects (superhuman abilities). As populations increases, people with Aspects have begun to increase accordingly. Typical struggles have emerged straining relations among colonization efforts, creating discord between Aspected and general public. A major organization, Galactic Associates of Intercolony Affairs, has stepped in to attempt to mediate and open a system to help the public and Aspected work together. tldr: Essentially, an early space-era X-Men type situation. Players will be playing as Aspected individuals within an Interstellar Trade Organization trying to build positive relations with and mitigate damages from Aspected people among the colonies. Much of the game will revolve around investigating clues, finding, and capturing other Aspected.

How to prepare

I'd recommend at least a microphone, if not a webcam and mic. I generally use Google Drive for taking notes and making character sheets, but we can discuss other options as well.

What I provide

I'll be creating some maps, or just finding some that fit the situation. Since this will be entirely virtual there will be no physical components needed.

Gameplay details

BESM is a pretty relaxed system that allows for a variety of creative uses of powers. The game does not necessarily have a lot of combat, but may veer in that direction based on player preference.

How will character creation work

Characters can be submitted prior to the Session 0 or built during Session 0. Some reconfiguration is fine for the first few sessions, especially for newer players as they learn more about the game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
