    About the adventure

Players will enter as close friends to the Lord, you're out here because you're a skilled agent in one manner or another, the scouts sent out return speaking wildly of things in the forest, of what they've seen, tree's taking men and stringing them up, or worse yet, they don't come back at all. "We're running out of food, so it imperative that you, selected agents, find us a way out, or the cause of whatever damnable curse that is keeping us here." Lord Haldrid tells you warily. There is little time to delay, gather your things, it's time to go! Your party will set off into the forest in search of a way out. Players will start at a modest power level, probably at around 3 or 4 if we're playing with 5e rules, or with 1 milestone if we're using ICRPG rules. Players will acquire further milestones or levels through play, and the adventure should take between 5-10 sessions to complete during a 2-4 hour time slot per session. Sessions will be ran on discord for voice and video and we'll use a custom virtual tabletop that will only need a browser to play on! Sessions will be made up mostly of exploration through the areas of the forest and eventually the place hidden inside- the Castle. The castle will be full of dire situations, and clues as to the source of your party's trouble. It will be up to your party alone in this quest to find out what lies within... THE CASTLE OF MIRRORS

    How to prepare

Design a character in your mind, think about who they are in relation to the Lord of this army and get a feel for who they are and what they'd do. If you'd like to check out the quick start rules for ICRPG, they're free on DrivethruRPG.

    What I provide

The virtual table we use will have dice and i'll provide the area maps and player tokens for you to choose from or create one for you from an image you like!

    Gameplay Details

Hi! I like to run a pretty casual table with roleplay usually descriptive in combat, but between turns there's some chatter about strategy and planning. Expect a lot of timers in play, meaning in a certain amount of rounds, something will happen! There's little time for leisure, prepare for action packed gameplay with some hard decisions to be made with danger lurking around every bend! New to tabletop rpgs? This is a great chance to experience some nitty gritty play and get a feel for the game, i'm great with new to the hobby players!

    How will character creation work

A session zero will need to happen where we discuss our player characters and set up, but this will happen before the first instance of play, i will probably message players one on one to discuss matters on discord and then gather everyone to have a quick chat to make sure we're all on the same page and happy

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: Medium
    • Roleplay: Medium
    • Puzzles: Low
