About the adventure

First, their friends went missing, then their relatives. One by one, the villagers working a mountain mine mysteriously vanish or fled in panic. A curse afflicts the village, and it is your job to lift it. You must travel by carriage over the mountain roads, learn more about the curse from its few survivors, and fight the dark and malevolent source of the curse. Can you lift the curse, or will you become its newest victims? Join us for roleplaying, exploration, and combat, with some horror in a 2-3 session Level 4 mini-campaign from the Candlekeep Mysteries module!

Gameplay details

Players will be required to agree to a code of conduct before play. The code of conduct bans harassment, bigotry of any kind (including homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia), and other harmful behavior such as a player commanding other players on what to do. Players who harass others or engage in bigoted behavior will be removed. We will discuss safety tools including lines and veils and rules in a mandatory onboarding session via Discord voice call. Players are free to raise concerns about any triggering content at the table so we can find a satisfactory outcome that ensures the table remains safe for all. This adventure will contain fantasy violence, dark magic, monsters, fire and explosions, references to a collapsing mine, and horror elements, including mind alteration and trauma from disappearing loved ones and a curse. Expect lots of roleplaying, combat, some exploration, and one environmental puzzle, with a break approximately midway through each session.

  • Roleplay: High
  • Puzzles: Low
