About the adventure

Your town is in trouble. In fact it is close to disaster. The crops have failed, there has been little rain and the livestock stand like skeletons in the field. The local sage says your town is cursed, and the renowned mage Matreous will know how it can be removed. You have searched far and wide and have tracked him to Candlekeep. You have paid your entrance fee to the library and are being escorted by a member of the Avowed, the keepers of the library, to where Matreous has been studying. But what will you find when you arrive? The Joy of Extradimensional Spaces” is a fun, escape room-like adventure that will challenge a party of 1st-level characters. It is role play/ puzzle heavy with a little bit of combat thrown in. Depending on how fast the characters move through the adventure, it could take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need a PC or Laptop and a Microphone. You will also need a free demo copy of Fantasy Grounds UNITY (Not classic). You will also need an account on Discord. I will send you the links for the game and also an invitation to my Discord Channel. While not required, players are also highly encouraged to download Syrinscape online player (also free). Instructions on how to download and setup all software will be provided once you have signed up for the game. It is all pretty simple.

What I provide

I have an Ultimate license for Fantasy Grounds Unity, and can host everyone for free. I will send you the connection information before the game. I also have all of the rulebooks and adventure material needed and loaded on the Virtual Table Top. I also have a Discord server that I will send you an invitation too, so that we can chat.

Gameplay details

I normally use the rules as written. If there are any changes or homebrew rules they will be minor and we will discuss them before the game or as they come up.

How will character creation work

Characters can be created before the game by logging in to Fantasy Grounds and creating a character or they can send me a character they have created in DnD beyond. (Instructions on how to create a character will be provided)

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
