About the adventure

The Candlekeep Library is renowned for it's collection of rare and ancient texts. When the Avowed, the libraries keepers, told you that, due to lack of room in the House of Rest, you would have to stay in the Firefly Cellar, you almost couldn't contain your joy. To be able to sleep among these ancient books is a rare opportunity indeed! But why is this children's rhyme stuck in your head? It seems familiar, but have you ever heard it before? No matter, probably something you heard on the way here, or did you? Shemshime's Bedtime Rhyme is a fun, role play heavy adventure. It will require a lot of interacting with the NPC's, and discussions with fellow PC's to uncover the mystery of the "earworm" stick in your head. There is a very limited amount of combat, but if you do enter combat, it will take some strategy to come out victorious.

How to prepare

You will need a PC or Laptop and a Microphone. You will also need a free demo copy of Fantasy Grounds UNITY (Not classic). You will also need an account on Discord. I will send you the links for the game and also an invitation to my Discord Channel. While not required, players are also highly encouraged to download Syrinscape online player (also free). Instructions on how to download and setup all software will be provided once you have signed up for the game. It is all pretty simple.

What I provide

I have an Ultimate license for Fantasy Grounds Unity, and can host everyone for free. I will send you the connection information before the game. I also have all of the rulebooks and adventure material needed and loaded on the Virtual Table Top. I also have a Discord server that I will send you an invitation too, so that we can chat.

Gameplay details

I normally use the rules as written. If there are any changes or homebrew rules they will be minor and we will discuss them before the game or as they come up.

How will character creation work

Characters can be created before the game by logging in to Fantasy Grounds and creating a character or they can send me a character they have created in DnD beyond. (Instructions on how to create a character will be provided)

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
