About the adventure

The greed of mortals has awakened a powerful entity long thought destroyed. For eons, this mighty champion of the gods has been imprisoned in the darkest depths of Exandria. His name has been forgotten, as have his heroic deeds. Languishing in despair, he calls out for new heroes to save him. Inspired by the campaigns of the hit series Critical Role, this Dungeons & Dragons adventure begins in the Wastes of Xhorhas and leads to the glimmering oasis-city of Ank’Harel on the continent of Marquet, and from there into a sunken realm of gloom, corruption, and sorrow known as the Netherdeep. Above it all, the red moon of Ruidus watches, twisting the fates of those who have the power to shape the course of history.

How to prepare

Players will need a working mic and a Discord account with the software downloaded and working on their computer. This will be used for voice chat and campaign communication outside of session. These sessions will be using Fantasy Grounds Unity. Players can get a free demo copy of the FG Unity software at www.FantasyGrounds.com. I will be glad to assist anyone who needs further help with the process and all relevant links will be provided to you once you join.

What I provide

I bring the magic, maps, sounds, and Fanatsy Grounds Ultimate license with extensions that make the playing process more enjoyable. I provide access to all official Dungeons & Dragons 5e content books inside Fantasy Grounds and outside of it if requested.

Gameplay details

Players can expect an all inclusive and safe space to play D&D. With regular check ins by me to make sure player's feel safe and are having fun. I will go over safety tools in a free session 0 to make sure everyone is on the same page. Players can also expect astonishing action that will be accompanied by a suspenseful and animated soundtrack mixed live throughout the sessions.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created during session 0 while using the Fanatsy Grounds Unity software. I am happy to help anyone that has not build a PC on Fantasy Grounds. Players will make a 3rd level character by either Standard Array, 27 Point Buy, or rolling during session 0. Only official Dungeons and Dragons 5e hardcover content is allowed. That also includes both Critical Role campaign books. If joining after session 0, I will set up a time with you in which you can build your PC on Fanatsy Grounds, before the next session. The character level will be the same as the party's level at the current time.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
