About the adventure

The Crawling Chaos stirs from its eternal slumber. It seeks minions to enact its plan. If allowed to come to fruition, this dire plan threaten to destroy humanity as we know it. But fear not, all is not lost. If a few brave souls can uncover and piece together certain information, they might prevent the unspeakable from happening. Embark on a journey of discovery to face dark cults, hideous monsters, and a range of implacable foes. Uncover the strange lore of the Mythos, can this be used to stop the Crawling Chaos, Nyarlathotep? This story is yours to tell! In 1919 a millionaire playboy named Roger Carlyle lead an archaeological expedition to Egypt only to vanish somewhere in Kenya. Your good friend, Jackson Elias, picked up the trail of the missing expedition to get to the bottom of what they were researching in Egypt and Kenya. He's called his group of friends to New York to discuss his findings. Your old friend, a renowned author of the death cults of the world, needs your help... I'm running Masks with a long-standing group, but we might have some room for 1 more, depending on the scheduling. This is very much a horror game with elements of investigation and mystery. If globe-spanning conspiracies involving secret cults who worship beings older than the Gods interests you, this campaign might be a great fit!

How to prepare

At the very least, should have a mic, possibly a headset or a webcam also. I am up for video if others would like to do audio + video for our game sessions. Gameplay details

The game works on a 1d100 or Percentage Based skill system. Call of Cthulhu leans heavily on investigations which could lead further into the dark truths of the horrific Mythos, or perhaps reveal the more mundane horrors of humanity. This is a game where magic takes study, sacrifice, and a bit of sanity.

How will character creation work

I can supply pre-generated characters for new-comers, or -- for the more experienced player -- you can create your own character beforehand. Just reach out, I'm happy to discuss character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
