About the adventure

Set in the City of Arkham, June 5th, 2022. Premise: There is a new law requiring ALL law enforcement, healthcare workers, and funeral directors to be subject to psychological evaluations to determine if they are fit for duty. The law requires mandatory reporters to inform the local health department of employees that are or maybe experiencing above normal duress. The worker must pass an evaluation to return to duty. To start the campaign I require the players to provide me with their character's occupation and a why reason they are seeing a psychologist. Characters to choose from: Jake (Mortician), Dan Usher (Funeral Home Owner), Kirsten (Bartender), Karl (Bar Owner), Teri (Reporter), or Tracen (The Spy). I am open to other occupations for the characters.

How to prepare

I plan to use discord for voice and I plan to use roll20 for dice rolling and visuals. I will work with new players and I believe most of the focus will be on the story rather than the mechanics of the game. The dice rolling is fairly simple on roll20 and I have a copy of all the rule books. Also the players should take some time to consider the reason their characters are seeing a psychologist. This is important for development of their characters and it adds to the story. Examples would be that you were reported for showing up intoxicated to work? or you have been in heated arguments with co-workers? maybe the death of a close friend or loved one caused your boss some concern so he reported you just to make sure you were handling the loss appropriately.

What I provide

I plan to have maps, articles, and handouts. I also bring experience because I love horror. I feel like i have a unique perspective because I am employed as mortician.

Gameplay details

Characters will be pre generated and available on Roll20. I will provide links to Discord and Roll20 before the game starts.

How will character creation work

I will create characters that people can pick from. We can discuss any occupation changes. I'm very open to suggestions as I want everyone to enjoy the experience of playing that character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
