About the adventure

Bright City: Underground, back from hiatus, follows our disparate group of people and creatures as they navigate life as part of the Underground of Bright City, under the direction of Alexander Brigham, the Patriarch of Bright City's Family. Victoria and Clint are on Brigham's shit list after making the decision to act in opposition to his orders. Walther has a big decision to make about the latest job Brigham asked of him, and Gwyn... Gwyn needs to do his best to stay out of the clutches of Lilith, Queen of Demons. -------------------------------------- Bright City: Underground is a private Urban Shadows campaign with an already dedicated cast of characters who know what to expect from the game and me as a GM.

How to prepare

Here's what you should have: --Access to the Urban Shadows 2nd edition Quickstart guide, which can be downloaded from DriveThru RPG --A Discord account if you don't already have one; they're free and easy to make. --A mic, but a webcam isn't necessary as video will not be a requirement or even desirable.

What I provide

I will provide a Discord server where players can meet each other and talk before and after the game. I'll also provide lore information for the Bright City setting and a character keeper where players can record character information and keep track of stats and other information.

Gameplay details

Players should expect heavy emotional RP, humor, violence, politics, and to make heavy choices. Themes are dark, anything beyond what is already listed will be according to player decisions and actions. Lines and Veils will be utilized and followed without question; even if one person is interested in pursuing a theme, if it's a line for someone else then it won't be explored. However, the following themes are essential parts of the story and players need to be okay with that; if they're not themes you enjoy in your ttrpgs, then this isn't the game for you: Violence, murder, blood, medical issues

How will character creation work

Characters have mostly been created, but there has been a long gap between the last session and the previous one, perhaps with a long time skip in-game, so there may need to be some discussion on what the characters have been up to.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
