Brainvasion of the Space Druid Matriarchy, Procedural Campaign
Homebrew Game on Discord, Zoom
About the adventure
Change is in the air. The sky is falling. This is all as predicted, according to the AI priests. But they always say that everything is part of the gods plan. Have you ever met a god? I haven't, and don't know anyone who has. Just the AIs. Maybe they're just pranking us and they are the gods. But who knows. More is lost and hidden than I could even guess at. History is creative fiction at best. Urban archaeologists find new technology every day, though half of them turn out to be pranks. Pranks by the gods? No one knows. What we do know is times are changing, breaking down again. Keeping things interesting for everyone. By design, but who knows who's design. I've got my essentials packed just in case. --- This is an alien invasion story on a world that is definitely not Earth, with lots of puzzles, vaults, and dungeon crawls. It has lots of sexual themes which we can avoid or focus on depending on the group. I was rolling up storylines in my engine and this crazy little gem popped up. It didn't square too well with my fantasy sheet, but looked like a good fit for my sci-fi sheet. A few minutes of rolling up settings and here we are.
How to prepare
Mic is essential, webcam is optional. Dice are also optional, and we will address the following details in session zero to set the tone of the game: Character creation Character death Dice use and game tone (ranging from more gamified dice based games, or more storytelling, narrative based games) Fighting (how much and how often) Hints (lots of puzzles in this one, so this will be important) Leveling General tone
What I provide
I bring my trusty army of spreadsheet formulas, perfect for building new characters, maps, and scenes with the push of a button, and my charming personality. I like to keep things simple that way, making it easy for you to go off the beaten path and explore more than most other DMs would let you even if they could. There is a story, with several plot branches you can explore, and there are at least six different endings, and we won't be able to find them all in just one campaign.
So this is obviously a sexually explicit story, but I'm willing to keep that stuff in the background. On the other hand, if you want to focus on it, I'm not going to roleplay it with you via voice. We can take it to play-by-post outside the main session if you want those details. ------- The Setting The world of Ambrosia is shrouded in mystery. The centers of civilization at the poles use technology far beyond the comprehension of their inhabitants. It is clear that none of the people of this world are native to its biosphere. The surface is mostly water, covered with storms and other volatile weather. Signs of civilization are everywhere and ancient, and it is hard to estimate how many eras and layers it has had. New technologies are constantly being discovered in the old vaults, by those brave enough to explore them. AIs are ubiquitous, and often run the cities and economies. They often speak in religious terms, and speak of "the gods", though little evidence of these gods is present.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen in session zero, but feel free to bring your ideas to the table. This is a technologically advanced civilization that often views said technology as magic, as it is far beyond their understanding, in this vaguely post-apocalyptic setting. There are ruins and vaults everywhere, and lots of AIs. You could play as a rogue AI in a machine body, but you would probably be an outcast from their society. So characters should fit into the setting somehow. Humans are the most common, but there are tall scaled humanoids, and hairy quadruped (think carnivorous dwarven centaurs) simply called wolves. As the title implies, the invaders are a matriarchy, with lots of biotech, such as pets, parasites, and living ships. And also as the title implies, they love mind control. To say more might involve spoilers. The invaders are also mostly human, and if you want to play as one they will need to be renegades from the main group, but you can talk to me and we can work something out. The two main cities, Gajadkaf in the north pole, and Gafadkaf in the south pole, are the most technologically advanced, and have an AI presence everywhere. The city in the north is a massive maze with hidden rooms and vaults everywhere. The city in the south is a sealed dome with the only known way in or out through the gates that lead to the other regions. Both cities have a highly fractured society with very loosely organized families, if any exist at all. Sekusu is a large swampy region where the Scaled Ones live. Like everywhere else on Ambrosia, it has many vaults and ruins of past civilization, many appearing to be explicitly designed as vaults and puzzles. They live in clans that are cold to outsiders unless they managed to gain their acceptance. They have access to advanced ships that can reach around the world, but even they don't know how the ships work. Jusaima is where the main Wolf population lives. Their mountain colonies are built amid numerous puzzle vaults containing ancient technology. Sgokas is the western hemisphere ocean. There are a variety of human colonies here living in starships crashed eons ago. Far ranging boats and naval vehicles are common, though the seas are usually quite shallow and teeming with life. Kafdashi are a more recent people, split off from the fleets of Sgokas. They discovered some ancient technology that grants some of them immortality, and their society is now based around trying to gain its favor. They are a people of archaeologists and treasure hunters, eager to explore the dangerous vaults and ruins that their parent culture sought to avoid out of caution. You can come up with a character who fits in with one of these origins, hopefully. I'll help, of course.
