About the adventure

Once the world was a marvelous place, and magic was part of the daily lives of even common folks. Flying castles, even flying cities, were common and even lowly farmers had access to magic to make their lives easier. But everything changed in the Sundering. The very land itself was remade into something unfamiliar. Entire nations ceased to exist almost overnight, and kingdoms that had endured centuries were no more. Much knowledge was lost forever, as the survivors struggled to rebuild. This was long ago now, but the bones of these once mighty empires still stand as a testament to their greatness. This presents great opportunity to the adventurous. But with great oppostunity often comes great danger. Today's world is much poorer in terms of magic, but everyone knows the stories of what it was like before the world was broken. Some suspect that the key to returning to those halcyon days lies burries in the bones of dead empires. Wealth, fame, glory and power await those who can brave the dangers, and return to the world that which was lost. All levels of experience welcome!

How to prepare

Webcam optional but encouraged to help communication. Microphone required. D&D Beyond account, Roll20 account and Discord required. Prefer to use the Beyond 20 browser add-in to communicate between Roll20 and D&D Beyond, but will also have AVRAE bot on the discord server.

D&D Beyond sourcebooks, Roll20 virtual tabeletop, Discord server, a custom developed world to adventure in.

How will character creation work

I'll have a few pregens available for selection, but custom characters are fine and encouraged. Looking to start at Level 5. I'll be wanting a little pre-sesstion work on background and integration into the storyt arc and the custom world I've created. We're generally going to be theatre of the mind, but some encounters will be using VTT maps and tokens.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
