Gameplay details

Expect a creative and fun atmosphere. Jokes are encouraged, as is the occasional pun. Creativity in problem-solving is rewarded. And remember that at the end of the day the goal is to have fun. Combat is a large focus of Pathfinder 2e but I try to keep it fast paced and not drag things out. So get ready for a fair mix of exploration and encounters, with downtime and roleplay opportunities in the mix.

How will character creation work

If you are joining at the start of the campaign we will have a session 0 where we discuss characters and get a good party dynamic going. For players joining midway a private conversation as well as player chat will allow you to work out your character to join the group. The easiest method is to create your character on Pathbuilder, Wanderer's Guide or directly in Foundry. Note that that the latter has limited player-guidance so not advised for new players to Pathfinder 2e. If you do choose to make your character outside of FoundryVTT it will need to be imported from Pathbuilder or built from scratch in the VTT. I can help you do that. Two variant rules are being used: Paragon Ancestry and Free Archetype. These grant you additional feats which increase diversity of playstyle. Alternatively I do sometimes allow players to dual-class, but if you do this you will need to balance the class choices and not take a free archetype. You can choose from almost any common or uncommon ancestry. Some rare ancestries and heritages may also be available under discussion.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
