About the adventure

The dead don't come back. It is important that you understand dis. Once you are in the ground...that's it. Maybe I should start from the beginning. I'm Oslo, the gravedigger ere in Hemwhick...and I buried that man. The man whose plot lies open and disturbed. It wasn't animals that got to em either, look at the way the soil seems to of been pushed up from underneath. It's like he crawled out of there hisself. Something must be keeping him from his everlastin slumber. He was dead though, i knows that for sure. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Dead as a doornail they say. Who is they? Well you'll ave to ask me somewheres else. Somewhere dark and secure like. Never know who's listenin. It was a brutal and bloody murder. Someone put some real hate inta that man. It took me awhiles to clean up enough just to get em in the cart. I put the coins on his eyes meself. We carried the coffin to the graveyard. I shoveled soil onto the casket. Look at it now. Somethin bad is happenin here. Somethin I don't want a part in. The dead don't come back. No sir. The dead don't come back... Imagine a D&D game combined with Call of Cthulhu/Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark/ and an in depth phycological thriller. I want this game to be cinematic in nature. We describe action as you would if you were watching a scene from a movie. Roleplaying and character development are a BIG DEAL here. We ALWAYS speak in character. This game is mature and dark. There are mature themes that press you to really get into the determinism of you character. This is a game for players that want to solve a supernatural mystery and have many bloody ways of achieving "satisfaction". You have been warned.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You should have discord installed and be in my private server a day prior to our game(or as close as we can get). A working microphone and camera for use in discord. Email Blacksungamingpresents@gmail.com prior to our game session to work on your character sheet (the sooner the better/at least a day before our game).

What I provide

I will bring a virtual dice roller and thematic background music for your mystery of terror. There will be maps and pictures that can be used and viewed right through our private game discord.

Gameplay details

This game plunges the players into a supernatural murder mystery with many twists and turns. There are opportunities for bloody combat, tense puzzles, and high roleplay. It is up to the group to solve this session any way they see fit. What way will you choose?

How will character creation work

Characters will be created prior to our game session. We will use a slightly modified D&D 5e character sheet.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
