About the adventure

An ancient prophecy speaks of a foreign hero that will rise to fight the darkness. Four wicked spirits haunt this place and have enslaved the good people to their will. On this night, All Hallows Eve, the ghouls and ghosts are forced from their crypts and made to walk the land. This is the night to strike back. The oppressed cry out for a hero to put an end to their suffering. Are you the hero of prophecy? Can you drive back the four evil spirits that haunt this land? Imagine a D&D game combined with Call of Cthulhu/Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark/ and an in depth phycological thriller. I want this game to be cinematic in nature. We describe action as you would if you were watching a scene from a movie. Roleplaying and character development are a BIG DEAL here. We ALWAYS speak in character. If you want to hunt and fight powerful evil spirits, this is the one for you. This game is for players who want an EXTREME challenge against LETHAL adversaries. This game is mature and dark. You have been warned.

How to prepare

Players in this game should have an intermediate knowledge of D&D 5e. We will be using a theatre of the mind playstyle. Invites to our private gaming server will be emailed out a day prior to our scheduled session. You should have discord installed and be in my private server a day prior to our game(or as close as we can get). A working microphone and camera for use in discord. Email Blacksungamingpresents@gmail.com prior to our game session to work on your character sheet (the sooner the better/at least a day before our game).

What I provide

I will bring a virtual dice roller and thematic background music for your story of terror. There will be maps and pictures that can be used and viewed right through our private game discord.

Gameplay details

You will be tasked with the hunting and slaying of a powerful evil spirit. A head-on approach will end in failure. These spirits are much stronger than the group. You must use your wits and skills to outsmart and outlast this extreme challenge.

How will character creation work

Characters are to be 3rd level and sourced only from the original D&D 5e Players Handbook. You may use the standard array or point buy system to develop and assign stats. I would suggest having two characters ready, as this is an extremely lethal undertaking. Character sheets are to be emailed to me at least a day prior to our scheduled session. As players sign up, I will add them to our games email thread for class management and discussion.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
