About the adventure
A mysterious note has been appeared at the doorsteps of some intrepid adventurers. Apparently someone by the name of 'Snapdragon' requires your help, promising a reward you would never find through "conventional means". Who ever could this person be? And what kind of "reward" awaits you? Big Trouble In Little Buttonville is a homebrewed 5E one-shot designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Even total beginners are welcome, and I am all for teaching the mechanics of the game if needed. I'm willing to adjust to party preferences regarding the level of RP and combat desired.

How to prepare
A microphone is encouraged but not a necessity, choosing to play by text is perfectly acceptable. I do not expect you to know every single rule, and I am willing to teach should you be a newbie. Software I require include Discord for communications and a browser for the VTT. My VTT of choice is Tarrasque.io, so I recommend creating an account for it ahead of time. What I provide
My sessions are typically light-hearted. I don't normally do voices but you can request it. (Be warned, I'm not very good) I'll be setting up the battlemaps and such myself, and will be reaching out to all of you personally.
Gameplay details
Fantasy violence will be depicted in this game quite frequently. Explicit content and words may appear, though can be tailored to a player's necessities.

How will character creation work
Your characters will be at level 5. You may create them in DnD Beyond, Google Sheets, DiceCloud etc., so long as the service allows me to view your sheets. You will have the option to either create them beforehand or in-session, the choice is yours. All official content is allowed, homebrew will need to be sent to me for approval. Ability scores are determined by Standard Array or Point-Buy, your choice.
