About the adventure

The cold is all-encompassing, seeping into every part of the body. The snow and ice crunch underfoot, while the wind bites at exposed skin. The feeling of numbness and discomfort is constant, a reminder of the harshness of the environment. The only warmth to be found is from huddling around a fire, and even then, the cold seems to seep in at the edges. This is the reality of the people of the Ten Towns, your reality, and your people need your help to survive. ❄️ Survive the elements as you explore the northern region ❄️ Protect you character's secrets with your life, it may be the one thing keeping you alive ❄️ Help the people of the Ten Towns survive the challenges of the never ending night ❄️ Battle the monsters that hide in the snow Are you ready to face the cold?

How to prepare

Please have access to D&D Beyond, Roll20, and Discord (all free accounts). You will need a microphone and headphones, and a quiet place to join in. Cameras are not required, but I do enjoy seeing your faces at my table.

What I provide

I will provide maps and other visual aids on Roll20 during the session. I also have a pro Roll20 account and use Dynamic Lighting when needed. Our Discord server also has additional admin and moderators to assist you if you have questions about the server, character creation, or game play in general. The DnD Beyond campaign link will provide access to character creation content above the Basic Rules through my D&D Beyond Master subscription; however, I do not own all published content (yet).

Gameplay details

Please note that the presence of a Content Warning Tag is not a guarantee that it appears in games. I choose to err on the side of caution and warn of possible content - this is NOT a license to do it, and this list can be modified. We will discuss safety tools, and you will be able to express publicly or privately anything you wish to avoid in-game. Additionally, a safety consent form will be sent to you before the session and lines and veils will be reviewed as a party before the adventure begins during Session 0. Any TRASH (Transphobia, Racism, Ableism, Sexism, & Homophobia) is not accepted at my table. No exceptions.

Session 0

How will character creation work

Directions for character creation will be listed in the Discord server in a specific channel for this campaign. Characters will start at level one. There will be some restrictions to character builds including limitations on races, classes, feats, and spells and we will build characters during our Session 0.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
