Bent: An Original Game Based on Avatar the Last Airbender

About the adventure

The game will be made up of mechanics found in Fate, Lady Blackbird, D&D and other TTRPGs. The story will be as dramatic or compelling as you make it! The universe lends itself to fantastical abilities, and will likely be fun and goofy at times. Other times, you will be faced with difficult decisions and hard ethical questions. You'll have to use ingenuity and wisdom to answer them. Like many of my stories, if you have looked into the other campaigns that I am running on StartPlaying, they will be heavily reliant on character storytelling. You make the world with your words in the theatre of the mind. Many of the specific locations and NPCs will come from the things that your party wants to do or stories that they would like to pursue.

Just start thinking. Webcam, mic and reliable internet are a MUST! Please have some dice or use a dice simulator.

How will character creation work

We will create characters together during a Session Zero, but players are encouraged to think of new and interesting characters that they can really empathize with. You may decide to be a non-bender, any traditional bender, the avatar (there will be rules), or any other justifiable type of bending (blood, lava, swamp, sand, etc.) with approval on mechanics.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
