About the adventure

This is a homebrew setting. As a group we will help flesh-out a high fantasy world. It will be a D&D 5th edition campaign. Starting at 1st level for new players who want to learn how to play. The story itself will unfold as players make decisions and learn more about the system. I like to run a more laid back game that tries to stay light hearted and if we decide to get more serious tones I am very happy to accommodate. My goal is to set up a weekly or bi weekly game with 3 to 5 players. As for a story I would like to start with a monster of the week style one session bag guys that would eventually grow based on player impact on the world. Set in a homebrew versions of Faerun.

How to prepare

A webcam is great, but a headset or mic is all I would like. Ahead of time it would be great to read about character classes so you understand. Youtube is great! We will make our characters together. You will not need to install software but creating a roll20 account would make maps easier and signing up for discord is also a good idea. Dice can be done virtually if we are online. I will provide character sheets for in person games otherwise a PDF will be used.

What I provide

I will bring dice for in person games. We can totally find character art but I am not an artist. I will 1000% provide maps electronically.

Gameplay details

I like to keep everything open to discussion and understanding of each others lives and feelings. Always open to discussions, debriefs, check ins and limits on activity or events. I spent a few years working in the therapy field and try my best to listen to each person! Feel free to calls a break or to step away from the group. Things to be aware: fantasy violence, alcohol, swearing.

How will character creation work

Since I would love to be teaching we would start at level 1. We will create them together! I would love to flesh out characters and make sure people understand what they are playing and how it works.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
