Beginner's guide to D&D !

About the adventure

This is a safe space for all beginners. With me, you will learn all the basics of D&D and RPG in general, from dice-rolling to character creation as well as combat, exploration and magic rules ! Be ready to dive in a world full of magic where your imagination and humour are the sole limitations. This game comes with a paid-session 0 and a free one-shot game !

How to prepare

A webcam is encouraged albeit not mandatory if someone isn't comfortable with it. It is however, mandatory to have a working microphone and to be able to use it for the whole duration of the game. Dice rolling will be done on discord with a bot.

What I provide

Rules, discord bots, soundtrack, ambiant sounds, and good humour is what will be brought. Of course, maps, pictures and sketches will be provided too.

Gameplay details

The game will be an iniatiation with a smooth learning curves. It will use grids and theatre of the mind alternatively (don't worry, all will be explained). Session 0 will be when we go throught everybody's expectations and desires for the game, as well as the creation of the characters.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created with me on a session 0 run before the first one-shot game. If you wish, you can create it on your own and ask me to give you feedback and see if everything is right. However, I highly encourage you to create your character with all the other players !

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
