Battle of the Demigods

About the adventure

The gods are eager to elevate a mortal to one of their own, and for that they set up a tournament for the mightiest mortals in the realms to battle to the death to prove their worth. A 20th level battle royale ensues, with each participant doing their best to survive. The winner ascends to divinity as a demigod.

Additional Details

How to prepare

No preparation needed, other than a general idea of the character you want to take into this battle. We will communicate verbally via Discord. Webcam is not required. I will message you with the Discord and Fantasy Ground details.

What I provide

I will bring Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate Edition, which means you only need the free demo version to connect to me. I'll send those details as well. Everything else I will provide.

Gameplay details

As this is a one shot and you're never gonna see these characters again, players can expect a battle to the death! Ultimately there is only one winner (bragging rights), but alliances can certainly be made (or broken) along the way. I will contact each player with the details. We will communicate via Discord and play via Fantasy Grounds (you don't need to purchase anything).

How will character creation work

We will create 20th level characters at the start of the session. Can use any option in the Player's Handbook, Monsters of the Multiverse, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Xanathar's Cauldron of Everything, and the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide. I will also have pregenerated characters (one of each class) that you can select if you'd prefer.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
