Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20
Price per player-session
About the adventure
Welcome to Baldur's Gate, a city of ambition and corruption. You’ve just started your adventuring career, but already find yourself embroiled in a plot that sprawls from the shadows of Baldur's Gate to the front lines of the planes-spanning Blood War! Do you have what it takes to turn infernal war machines and nefarious contracts against the archdevil Zariel and her diabolical hordes? And can you ever hope to find your way home safely when pitted against the infinite evils of the Nine Hells?
How to prepare
A microphone and a computer able to handle running discord and roll20 at the same time is needed. Alternatively a phone with discord connected and a laptop running roll20 works, not everyone has fancy gaming headsets but most people have headphones with a mic. Come with a general idea of what kind of character you want to play and a fun fact about yourself.
What I provide
I will have the purchased module in roll20 with compendium sharing, I will be making tokens during the session 0 with the character pictures you provide, and attached to the tokens will be the necessary stats to ensure that the dynamic lighting in the game operates correctly.
This game contains themes of enslavement and mental manipulation and coercion. We'll be using the X Card system and doing a Highlight Reel/Wrap Party after each session. If there is a tool you would like to use that is not currently suggested I'm all ears.

How will character creation work
Character creation happens as the first session, which I offer free. Every session after is paid for as that is when the adventure starts. On the day that the whole party is available to do the first session (session 0 as we call it) I will assign all players a character sheet and we can go over backstory creation and party composition together as a group. I do group introductions this session too so have some tidbits about yourself ready!
