About the adventure
Aurora is a planet much like earth. It has oceans, continents, and varying climates. It is a gritty world, where the light struggles against the greater darkness. Many struggle to obtain the basics necessities of living, while a few horde the rich decadence of the world. A few braves souls struggle against the darkness, to bring light to those they can. In game terms, Aurora is considered medium fantasy, with real world consequences. In Aurora, adventurers are "different" than almost everyone else. The care about the well-being of others. They risk their lives on a regular basis for the good of all. Sometimes the way they go about this, may seem a bit bizarre to the citizens of Aurora. The main continent of note on Aurora, is Westaria. Westaria has been inhabited for many centuries, mainly by humans, elves, and dwarves…with a small remnant of halflings. Within the last 3 generations, a defining event has shaped the minds and lands of Westaria, The Great War.

How to prepare
Please have an account at forge-vtt.com. This will speed up character creation and starting the game. Discord will be used for communication. Also, please know the basics of the class you plan to play. You do not have to be an expert at D&D, but basic knowledge is helpful.
What I provide
I will bring all this is needed to play. As for voice acting, I have a strong southern accent, keep that in mind as we play. :)
Gameplay details
This game is family friendly, but does have survival and combat elements. All players are expected to be respectful to others. Harassment is not tolerated.

How will character creation work
We will get together in Discord and Foundry VTT to make characters, the week before the game. Once the game is set, we'll need to coordinate times to meet.
