An Introduction to Dungeon Crawl Classics

About the adventure

This is an introductory session to give players a chance to play the Dungeon Crawl Classics Roleplaying Game. It is a 3 hour session of the classic "funnel" adventure "Portal Under The Stars". How we play this is flexible depending on your wishes. We can play simply theater of the mind over a video call or we can combine that video call with a Virtual Tabletop as well. All pre-generated characters and game materials will be provided.

How to prepare

Webcam and microphone. All rules will be explained on the day. We can play using physical or digital dice, or a mix of both. Character sheets will be supplied.

What I provide

I will provide all video software and virtual tabletop licenses where required.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a light hearted romp through an old school dungeon. Each player will control up to 4 level 0 characters. Character death will be fast and furious. Only the strong and lucky survive to become actual, proper 1st level heroes.

How will character creation work

Pre-gens will be provided or players can roll them up on the Purple Sorcerer website. Each player will control 4 level 0 characters. Spare characters will be provided in the event of crazy amounts of character death.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
