This is d20, D&D, whatever you want to call it-- I've had my hand at it for over 35 years. Want to engage the NPCs? Want to charge in, trumpets blaring? Want to skulk through the shadows? You're not going to fluster me, and I adjust on the fly. Want a different system? If I've got the books, I'm willing to give it a go. Ask me and we'll sort it out.
