Alien RPG - Chariot of the Gods

About the adventure

The job was routine, the money fair. Then the damn company diverted you to answer a distress call from a ship that disappeared almost 80 years ago—a derelict carrying something bizarre, twisted, and alien. What the ship’s frozen crew brought back with them was bad enough— what they themselves were turning into was a bloody nightmare. Add to that an annoying sensor ghost shadowing you in the void, and your stress level is shot. It’s all a bit much. You don’t get paid enough to deal with monsters. But hold your breath, count to three, and play your cards right with this one, and you just might walk away very rich. Oh, who am I kidding? You’re all going to die. Chariot of the gods is a campaign scenario for Alien. Pregenerated characters will be provided. Expect 3 to 5 sessions to work through the story.

How to prepare

Microphone is required, as is the Zoom teleconferencing software. A webcam is highly recommended. Watch Alien. Watch Aliens. Watch Prometheus and Covenant. Watch Aliens again, because you had to watch Prometheus and Covenant.

Gameplay details

The Alien RPG is a fairly faithful recreation of the Alien movies. The game largely centers around your character just trying to survive. The universe is full of body horror and horrible, squicky ways to die. Things that are NOT going to be present are rape, torture, or violence against children. The X-Card is always in play.

How will character creation work

We will be using pre-generated characters that are tailored for the module, so no character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
