About the adventure

A lonely voice in the silence of space brings the crew of search and rescue vessel Almayer to the Zeta II Reticuli system where a stranded vessel hosts a cosmic horror Alien RPG is an awesome system which really brings to play the vulnerability and tension of facing off against the galaxy’s most terrifying predator. Combat is heavily weighted in favour of the Xenomorphs and player casualty can be high but in-built in the game mechanics are a host of alternate NPCs for players to assume so everyone should be playing right up to the end Player versus Player (normally a no-no in my games) is also encouraged by the system (and the scenario) but we shall have discussion at the start of each session to ensure each player is comfortable with this aspect. The Alien RPG is very much a pick up and play game and each session will include tutorials for the major mechanics of the game (there aren’t many) so if you fancy facing up to Giger’s shark in space then sign up for the Almayer today The scenario will take place over 3 sessions (Acts)

How to prepare

Players should have a mic and access to Discord (we use Push to Talk). Feel free to read the rules but it isn’t necessary, they’re very simple and will be explained as we need them. If we are using Fantasy Grounds Unity then you will only need the (free) Demo version. If we are using Foundry then I will send a link and password to you before the game.

How will character creation work

Pre-Gen characters will be provided along with token portraits and also Agendas, a motivation or action unique to your character, which you will be rewarded for if you manage to see it through

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
